At this point I probably represented over a thousand people who have been injured to the negligence of others and a big percentage of those cases that I’ve handled on behalf of the injured have been for people, unfortunately involved in motor vehicle accidents as well as trucking accidents. Those cases that we represent, particularly as it relates to car accidents, we’re often meeting people who are in a very bad situation. They may be obviously injured and coming out of a car accident. They may be unaware of what rights that they might have, of what medical treatment they may be entitled to. They may be unaware of who is going to pay for their medical treatment. Usually in the way that the laws in New Jersey, it is a no-fault state, meaning your own car insurance company is going to pay for your medical treatment regardless of any fault that may be assessed as a result of the accident. It’s important for us to let our clients who are coming to us in this very difficult time, that they have rights, that they are going to be okay, they can get medical treatment that they need, to make sure that we’re there and what I tell my clients is, you focus on getting better and you let me handle all the nonsense with the insurance companies and the medical bills.
